Spring 2020 Monolithic Dome Builders Workshop Schedule will be decided upon in the spring of 2020, pending COVID-19 Response. The work on the Monolithic Dome is expected to start this fall or winter and should be completed within two years. The construction is to be completed in three phases, namely, prefabrication, manufacturing and assembly. The following is an overview of the various phases of the project. Prefabrication: The prefabricated dome is made from aluminum sheet, which is then assembled into the dome. The pre-fabricated dome is then shipped to the assembly site where it will be assembled by the manufacturer. At this point, the manufacturer will take a look at the prefabricated dome and make the changes as necessary. These include, changing the color of the aluminum sheet to one that is similar to the other aluminum sheet in the Monolithic Dome Construction, removing any decorative pieces of the pre-fabricated dome, changing the shape of the dome and replacing any parts that are damaged during assembly. This website: SouthIndustries.com has expounded more on that. Factory Assembly: After factory assembly, the dome is shipped to the actual fabrication facility where the manufacturer will make the final adjustments in the piece. When the dome is ready to be installed, the manufacturer will remove any parts that have been removed during the factory assembly process. Manufacturing: The manufacturer of the Monolithic Domes will install the pieces of the dome and install them into the dome structure during the manufacturing phase. Assembling the dome assembly takes place throughout the manufacturing phase. All parts that come into contact with the dome are checked and then they are put together. At this point, all of the pieces have been assembled and tested for their strength. In addition to the factory assembly process, the Monolithic Domes also undergoes a test run at the assembly plant. Domes are also much better at retaining temperature compared to other structures. Assembly Plant: The Monolithic Domes are assembled inside the assembly plant. During the assembly process, the manufacturers test each piece and adjust any defects before the piece is put together. After the assembly process has finished, the piece is placed inside of the dome structure. Monolithic Domes Workshop Schedule will be released as soon as COVID-20 Response is passed by the federal government. Once the Workshop Schedule has been approved, the company will start to make some of its first monoliths and install them in the homes of Americans. as soon as they are completed. There will not be many Monolithic Domes available to purchase as a home as they will only be produced.
